Drama

Students explore the world of theater through the study of movement, speech, improvisation, acting, playwriting, directing and technical theatre. Students develop collaboration,  communication and creativity skills through the creation and performance of dramatic works.  Drama develops the whole person — emotionally, physically, intellectually, imaginatively, aesthetically and socially.

Drama encourages challenge. It is a place to practice courage, take a chance on ideas, and gain real world collaboration skills that extend far beyond the classroom.  Students build resilience, and by experimenting with a variety of dramatic forms, students can explore their potential as performers, collaborators, and creators.
