Digital Media and Film Studies 10, 20 and 30

Some of the top YouTubers in the world are using the same technology and software we use in this course to explore broadcasting and live streaming. Students create texts for diverse audiences, collaborate to problem solve, set goals and reflect throughout the production process.

Within this course, depth and complexity increase as students learn about the role of journalism in society, how to develop and publish content, and the publication process. Students will also focus on film theory and media production to explore significant creators, eras and styles of filmmaking. Students develop their own film projects inspired by influential and culturally significant works.
