Attendance Area
Students living in the following neighbourhoods are in the designated attendance area for Elder Dr. Francis Whiskeyjack School, effective for the 2024–25 school year:

- Aster
- Charlesworth
- Larkspur
- Laurel
- Maple
- Silver Berry
- Summerside Northeast
- Tamarack
- Walker
- Wernerville
- Wild Rose

Elder Dr. Francis Whiskeyjack School is a Level 1 school on the Growth Control Model and will have an open attendance area. This means:
- Resident students in the attendance area would get first priority to fill available spaces in planned classes. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic.
- Students living outside the attendance area can attend if there’s space in planned classes once resident students from the attendance area are enrolled.
- If demand exceeds available space at the school, students from outside the attendance area will be enrolled through random selection.
- Non-resident students will be considered only once all resident students have been registered. They can try and enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.
For the 2024–25 school year, Elder Dr. Francis Whiskeyjack School will open with Grades 10 and 11 only. The school will offer Grades 10–12 for the 2025–26 school year.
